Lynne Carr has a wide range of expertise gained from over 25 years working in the social housing sector, in both local authorities and housing associations.

Lynne has worked for three local authorities. Her responsibilities included:

• managing and delivering local estate-based housing services

• project managing regeneration strategies, and

• policy development & implementation.  

Since joining the housing association sector in 1989, she has worked for Staffordshire Housing Association as Deputy Chief Executive, Thenew Housing Association as a consultant and Cube Housing Association as Director for over 8 years. Lynne's achievements include:

• Business Planning & Development

• Developing new business initiatives, including regeneration projects, Private Finance Initiatives and Care in the Community projects.

• Director/Chief Executive of five housing associations in Scotland

• Managing change and implementing organisational reviews

• Negotiating stock transfer contracts

Lynne is also an Associate of Housing Quality Network.
